Duties and Responsibilities

•Work Output Description
- Operate a mobile mechanised drill rig underground according to the drill plan adhering to standard operating procedures and required mining and safety standards.

Qualifications and Experience

2. Minimum Requirements
- Grade 10 / Standard 8 / Abet Level 4 or equivalent
- 2 years experience as TM3 Drill Rig Operator
- Drill Rig Operator Competence Certificate

3. Advantageous
- Grade 12 /Standard 10 / Matric or equivalent
- 3 Years experience as TM3 Drill Rig Operator

- Hand-eye Co-ordination
- Competent within Confined Spaces
- Attention to Details
- Equipment and Tools
- Safety Policies and Procedures
- Company Policies and Procedures

5. Physical/Legal Requirements
- RFAC (Rehabilitation Fitness Assessment certificate) and HTS (Heat Tolerance Screening)
- Clear Credit / Criminal record
- Fit for Duty/Certificate of Fitness
- Code 8 / 10 Driver's License
- Hand-eye co-ordination (Dover)
