Our company is looking for a Digital Specialist to join our Marketing Team. The Digital Specialist’s role is to coordinate the brand’s ecommerce store, track and optimize e-commerce digital marketing campaigns across all digital channels including working with social media teams.
Coordinate and manage E-commerce channels
Coordinate the product inflows of the online store
Coordinate and implementing the visuals on the website: ecommerce site ensuring the monthly campaign updates happen on time, as per critical path
Coordinate the e-commerce shoots for ecommerce and social media.
Upload and schedule content for social media platforms
Execute, Implement and track all digital marketing for the e-commerce channel as per agreed promotional calendar (social media, Google, YouTube, emailers, sms, A+)
Ensuring the campaigns are run within the agreed budget and timelines
Tracking, analysing and reporting feedback to relevant stakeholders.
Review user-generated comments and posts in a quick and timely manner.
Overseeing the scheduling of posts, copywriting & customer engagement.
Coordinate digital communication for e-commerce (e.g. newsletters, SMS. WhatsApp).
Assist with and get involved with any Special projects which may arise which affect the digital platforms of e-commerce channels.
Manage relationship and build good relations with group and external service providers
Negotiations with suppliers and service providers.
Qualifications Tertiary qualification in a related Marketing or Digital diploma/degree.
Knowledge, Skills and Experience
A minimum of 3 to 5 year's relevant working experience gained in a Digital Marketing and ecommerce with working knowledge of coordinating an ecommerce and digital communication channels.
Experience in working with websites: ecommerce site maintenance and social media platforms essential.
Excellent language skills (verbal and written) in English, and ability to converse in a second official language would be an advantage.
Proficiency in the latest Microsoft packages (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint & Outlook) and Google Suite are an important requirement.
Excellent customer service orientation, presentation, time management, communication, organizational and administrative skills.
Driver’s license is required as travel may be required to local suppliers. Excellent planning, organizing and time management skills.
Ability to remain flexible, function under pressure and maintain a positive attitude and work performance in a variety of circumstances.
Ability to multi-task and to deal with complexities, use initiative to solve problems.
Willingness to travel ad hoc.
