Key Result Areas
This role is accountable for facilitating and implementing the Performance Management strategy, systems, practices and governance.
Within a global framework for talent management, you will maximize human capital engagement to ensure they have the necessary templates, tools, guidance and materials to support the performance management practice for the population.
Provides input into the overall Talent Management strategy, focusing predominantly on performance management
Owns the performance management practice and builds the practice capability with the human capital community
Empowering the business to take the lead to own and develop in their careers at Old Mutual.
Conduct ongoing research on performance management practices.
Support the Human Capital community to ensure consistent and efficient execution of the performance management processes
Analyses relevant data, formulates views and opinions and makes recommendations taking practice impacts into account.
Identifies trends in performance data and making recommendations for action, including underperformance.
Role Requirements
Relevant qualification at Postgraduate Level. Masters degree is preferable.
Preferable: broader experience in the following areas: Organisational development, Change Management, Talent Management, Workforce Analytics, Reward
Key skills that would support you in fulfilling this role include:
HR and Talent Management experience; specifically in performance management
Previous experience in working in a centre of expertise is advantageous, working in an above-market / group-wide centre of expertise is preferred.
Strong communication skills with the ability to apply this in different cultural contexts
Coaching and influencing senior leaders and being seen as a credible source of advice and feedback
A structured and pragmatic approach to analysing information and using this to inform recommendations and implement practical solutions
