Wanted is an Assistant Officer to be stationed in the Gauteng Region
•Develop and manage customer relationships to meet business objectives
•Establish and maintain relationships with industry role players
•Request nominations for scheduled training interventions
•Maintain and update the training scheduling system
•Prepare the training venue and make all necessary arrangements (catering, course materials, travel, accommodation, etc.)
•Prepare for and deliver end-user training through skills and techniques such as classroom learning, story-telling, demonstrations, role playing, team building activities, flip chart-based information gathering, brainstorming and one-on-one coaching
•Ability to enable conceptualisation and practice through experiential learning facilitation, comprehensive knowledge of the training themes and topics (soft skills and competency skills) are required.
•Review and evaluate course feedback and make suitable recommendations
•Measure and monitor customer satisfaction within a business unit and recommend corrective action
•Handle and attend to a range of customer complaints
•Contribute to the management of risk within own field of expertise
•Compile Technical Training Reports (daily, weekly and monthly
•Maintain and update training records
•Manage learner information data, using an information management system
•Conduct internal audits within the Training Quality •Management System
•Evaluate education, training and development providers
•Have Grade 12 Certificate
•Be computer literate in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint). Mind Map and MS SharePoint.
•Have experience in ETD in the Gold Mining Industry
•Have a knowledge and understanding of the •NQF/SAQA/MQA and Unit Standards
•Have good interpersonal and problem solving skills
•Have advanced written and oral communication skills, presentation and facilitation skills
•Be declared medically fit for the position and environment, as determined by a risk based medical examination at the relevant Sibanye Stillwater Occupational Health Centre
•At least 2 years’ experience in a training environment
•At least 2 years’ U/G Mining experience as a TL/Miner with experience in supervision and have shown planning, organising, leading, and controlling experience of a team
•Have experience in solving performance related problems as well as interpersonal problems within a team environment.
•Knowledge and understanding of the ISO 9001:2008
